This magwell is for the Rock Island pistols that have the "tail bone" style frame. This is a black anodized aluminum magwell with a much larger funnel and weighs almost the exact same as the factory steel magwell. Our design has two set screws that contact the steel frame as opposed to the factory set screw that pushes on the mainspring housing, potentially adding weight to the trigger pull. (This magwell is designed to work with Remington and MBX mags. Short mags such as Factory supplied Mec-Gar will not work with this magwell.)

very nice magwell
I purchased a competitor's Magwell and had to return it for poor fitment, this one fit perfectly, and works with my TF mag extensions, it also came with an extended stainless steel pin. def go with the Hayes Magwell for Tac Ultra!!!

RIA magwell
Just installed this on my pistol. The fit was perfect. There are no sharp edges and it feels much better, against your hand, than the factory magwell.

Magwell addition
Fit and finish were exactly as described. A couple file strokes and the fit was perfect. That was described in detail in the video. I am also glad it did not say Hayes on the bottom like in the pic I saw. I am not a big Billboard on my stuff kind of guy. Thank you for a great product.

Excellent product
Fantastic magwell. It was a perfect fit. Very little shaping on the frame at all. Basically just rolled the edge. Fit better than my factory and was a perfect fit for my VZ grips. Please keep making upgrades for the Rock Island double stacks.
