This magwell is for the Rock Island pistols that have the "tail bone" style frame. This is a black anodized aluminum magwell with a much larger funnel and weighs almost the exact same as the factory steel magwell. Our design has two set screws that contact the steel frame as opposed to the factory set screw that pushes on the mainspring housing, potentially adding weight to the trigger pull. (This magwell is designed to work with Remington and MBX mags. Short mags such as Factory supplied Mec-Gar will not work with this magwell.)

I ordered this magwell for my RIA Ultra Tac HC 10mm. I will be using it as an open gun for USPSA events. It is a perfect fit with excellent finish. The position of the retention screws was an excellent idea to not increase the trigger pull weight. I highly recommend this product.
