Great Mag Release Button
I installed the Gen 2 Extended Mag Release on my Bul Armory Ultralight and it works great.
The extended link button allows the shooter to engage the magazine release without breaking their grip. This button is angled and beveled for a more comfortable feel and comes with a 4/40 and 5/40 screws, black finish
The Gen 2 extended magazine release now has a bevel on the backsize to create more clearance and fit a wider variety of grips.

Gen 2 Extended Mag Release Button
Purchased for Kimber 2K11 Pro. Fits and functions perfectly, no need to reposition the grip to reach the mag release, and the design does not interfere with the support hand.

Very nicely machined with an excellent finish. Fit was fantastic and came with two different screws depending on which size your release uses. Would not hesitate to buy again!

Gen 2 Mag Release…yeah it’s awesome.
I’ve competed the last couple of weeks with the new Gen 2 mag release on my MPA LOC-V2. I love the ability to adjust the positioning in relation to my thumb reach. I don’t have to break my grip and with both hands gripping firm no issues with accidental release. Table starts are solid but that would be due to the frame mount thumb rest but no issues when acquiring the pistol on start. No binding and mags drop free. Only wish there were some color options but not a big deal. More than likely I will get one for my backup (Atlas Artemis…yes I know I said back up).

Just what I was looking for
To start I like how it comes with the two different sizes screws. Makes things easier, just find the one that fits. I have this on my Cheely L2 grip. I do not have to break my grip now to drop the mag. Extremely adjustable to make things just right for you. Does not hit anything in my holster to do an accidental mag drop.

Gen2 Extended Mag Release Button
I've been very happy with both generations of the mag release button and use them exclusively on my 2011's. As a lefthanded shooter, the design allows me to rotate the tail end closer towards the trigger guard and manipulate the mag release with less effort than other manufacturers.

Excellent quality with product!!! My mistake, was to have another gunsmith drill and tap the OEM mag release! He screwed it all up! Should have had you do it. It's all proper now and I am happy .

Excellent Mag Release
Had an extractor break shortly after I installed this mag release, so only reporting on a couple hundred rounds of use. But this mag release button has worked well. In fact, it worked so well, it seemed like I had on the gun for years already. It took only a couple dry fire reloads and a few live fire and I felt fully confident it would work for me. Fit and finish are solid, and the ergonomics seem perfect for my hands. Nice addition to this gun (Staccato with a Cheely grip).

Rock Solid
Fits well and is easily adjusted to fit any hand/grip. Bought this for my first custom build and I'll be buying more for any future guns. Finish was solid and not easily scratched 10/10.

Great product
Great product. My thumb did not quite reach the release on my new Platypus. I ordered this and had a local gun smith drill a hole and threaded it. Now it fits my hand perfectly.

Gen 2 Extended Mag Release Review
Without a doubt, this is the best mag release I have used. This mag release was designed for a DS 1911, but it fit perfectly on my single-stack Commander 1911, I just had to notch the grip for clearance due to the low profile. I have shot 200 rounds and haven't had an accidental mag release. There is no interference with my kydex or leather holsters. You will not be disappointed with the Gen 2 Button. I need one in silver now for my stainless 1911s.
