You will need to reuse the lock and spring from your current magazine release, or purchase a new lock and spring. 

**STACCATO 2011 VERSION FITS STACCATO GEN 2 GRIPS ONLY**

Will not work with C or C2 

The Staccato 2011 version will not work with Gen 1 STI/Staccato grips.

The mag release dropped in with no issued or fitment required and has worked flawlessly. I am extremely pleased with the product and purchase. I also purchased their extended mag release button with it and would recommend you purchase both together. My stock internals from the original mag release worked just fine in the Hays mag release.
